Walk of Fame!

Cincinnati, Ohio Cincinnati is celebrating black music and culture today. Today is the Historic Grand Opening of the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame. The induction celebration for 2023 is featuring inductees Louise Shropshire, James Brown, The Deele, and Philippé Wynne.
The group "The Deele" being honered today is a big deal. No pun intended. The members of the group include Cincinnati-born founders, bassest Kevin “Kayo” Robinson, drummer Antonio “L.A.” Reid, and vocalists Darnell “Dee” Bristol. Vocalists Stanley “Stick” Burke, and Carlos “Satin” Greene joined the R&B band shortly after the founding in 1981. Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds later joined the band.

I didn't even know a bass could play lead... once I knew that, I knew that I wanted to play bass, and I never looked back! -Kevin "KAYO" Roberson
